I’ve given up on raiding for shinies. I’ve never gotten a shiny legendary, I think a raid shiny is so rare as to be almost not worth trying.

It’s supposedly about 1 in 20. I have a RL friend who’s a whale, and he finally got me paying for remote passes. I got 3 shiny Rays in a row a couple weeks ago, and since then nothing.

In a ROW!? When it rains it pours I guess. I find the randomness to be a real bummer sometimes. Like when you go weeks without finding a shiny, then dig up 3 of the same kind.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome. A girl in my raid group gave me the finger because she hadn’t gotten one yet haha. Also, Genesect #19 was shiny. I named it Ayrton Senna because the host was in Sao Paolo and it was rain boosted.

Here it ebbs and flows depending on our work schedules. My friend works at Amazon, currently night shift, so he’s got odd hours, and until the end of next week I’ve got odd hours, but after that I’m starting a new job (in the auto industry!) that has slightly more conventional hours so my evenings will be free.

He did give me his friend code to give to “my international  raid friends” if you want it. He’s long since been L40, at least since I’ve been playing period.

I’d love to be in auto, but there isn’t too much auto left in aus.

I’ll take it! Can’t hurt to have more quality friends haha.

My brother is playing out in a more rural area. They’ve got more raid groups trying to get together, since it’s the only way in a sparser community. Still an ebb and flow I think, but it works.

I’ll just be working in a shop, front end stuff so it’ll mostly be answering phones and talking to customers and stuff. But I’ll be making what I make now in management in retail. My boss isn’t happy I’m leaving, but it was time for me to go.
